Lot 127 pairs a large paver parking and patio area with a huge deck overlooking the lagoon — a quiet, natural setting where you'll occasionally spot wildlife. The lot is spacious enough for any coach, the hedge keeps it private, the resort Wi-Fi works well here, and this lot is sap-free. Lot 16 — sunny, private, and ten minutes from everything

Vacation Inn is all about location: a gated, 400-lot resort about a mile from I-95, with the airport, golf, beaches, boating, restaurants, nightlife, and downtown West Palm Beach all within about a 10-minute drive. Lot 16 is a beautiful, sunny, north-facing lot with a spacious paver patio that's great for entertaining — close to the pools, clubhouse, tennis courts, and showers, and an easy walk to every activity. Because it's a perimeter lot, your backyard is open green space instead of the back of someone else's RV — perfect for sitting in the sun, pets, and kids. The patio is ringed with lush tropical palms for privacy, has dimmable lighting to set the mood, electrical outlets in every section, and water spouts front and rear.

Questions renters ask

The details people usually want before they book — pulled from each resort's published renter information.

What kind of RV can stay on each lot?

Lot 127 (Hilton Head) is motorcoaches only — drivable Class A and Class C coaches; no trailers. Coaches 10 years or older need to send photos and get resort approval before reserving. Lot 16 (West Palm Beach) accepts motorhomes, fifth wheels, and travel trailers that are self-contained — no pop-ups, tent trailers, truck campers, or soft-sided fold-outs. Size and age restrictions apply at both resorts.

Can I rent Lot 127 or Lot 16 directly from you?

Hilton Head's rules require every rental to go through the resort office or its online system, and Vacation Inn's association handles Lot 16's rentals and terms. Booking through the resort is also what locks in your dates — but we're glad to answer questions about either lot before you book.

Are pets welcome?

At Hilton Head, yes — dogs and cats are welcome, leashed (6-foot max), cleaned up after, and kept quiet; there's a dog park and wash station, and some Beaufort County breed restrictions apply. Lot 16's perimeter backyard is a favorite with pet owners; check Vacation Inn's rental terms for its pet rules.

Are there discounts?

At Hilton Head: 10% off for FMCA members, active-duty and retired military, and first responders, and 15% off monthly stays on the same lot — discounts can't be combined. At Vacation Inn, the savings are built into the rate tiers: longer stays pay less per night, and returning long-term renters (121+ days) pay $95/night in high season.

What if I need to cancel?

Hilton Head charges cancellation fees that scale with how far ahead you cancel and the length of the stay — from a flat $50 when you cancel more than 91 days out, up to forfeiting the whole deposit inside 15 days (short stays). No refunds after check-in or for early departures. Vacation Inn: 60+ days out, the deposit is refundable minus $100 only with proof of a major medical situation (otherwise the $500 deposit is forfeited); inside 60 days, full payment is forfeited without a medical note. The estimator and rate panels above link to each resort's full policy.

What's included in the rate?

Lot 16's rates include taxes, water, electricity, and internet (with a $200 refundable modem deposit); cable TV is not included. Lot 127's rate is the resort's nightly motorcoach-site rate; a 3% service fee applies to credit-card payments at Hilton Head. Both lots come with the furniture, fire pit, and patio setup you see in the photos.

How long can I stay?

Lot 16 requires a 7-night minimum and allows up to 180 nights in a 12-month period — it's a popular snowbird lot, so winter months go early. Lot 127 has no published minimum; monthly stays earn the 15% discount. Either way, booking a season ahead is normal for both resorts.

Can I have a fire or use a grill?

On Lot 127, the gas fire pit and propane grills are welcome — charcoal and wood fires aren't allowed anywhere in the Hilton Head resort. Jack pads are required under every coach there, and the office can lend or sell them.
